Participation in The Critique Group, Christchurch Exhibition
'On Our Own' December 2019
Figures
For this exhibition I chose 5 pencil and watercolour figures from the many I've produced over the last 2 years in a Portrait/figure group I attend most Thursday mornings. The image below shows my portraits mounted on wine-coloured card alongside my friend Jan's studies of violets and the a page from the book.
Book
I also exhibitied a book I made consisting of friends' garden thoughts prompted by questions I asked them. I illustrated in pencil and watercolour a plant and a pest of their choice and took a soil sample to show what it all rests on.
